I placed an order for a replacement part for my laptop, but a few hours later, I got an email saying there was a website glitch, the item was out of stock, and they were giving me a full refund. I wasn't too thrilled about not being offered the chance to wait for the part to come back in stock, but whatever. I figured I could just bookmark the page and check back now and then.

So, I went to do just that, and guess what? They had already updated the listing, but NOT to show that the part was unavailable. Instead, they jacked up the price to nearly double what I originally paid. They claimed to have over 100 of them ready to ship. No sign anywhere that the item was out of stock, contrary to what I was told.

I want to give this company a fair shot, but it feels pretty sketchy. I’d steer clear of them. Maybe they just don’t know how to run their website, but let’s be real: they canceled my order without even asking if I wanted to wait, and in just a few hours, they changed the listing to show a huge price hike instead of adding an out-of-stock notice. I find it hard to believe this was just another website mistake.

Update: It turns out the new price is what another seller is charging. So, the original seller is out of stock, and the new one is asking for more. But, of course, there's no way to confirm this. The site doesn’t provide any info about the actual seller (like you’d see on Newegg or similar sites), so my advice to steer clear of this website still stands. The lack of transparency is a real issue.

I got myself a fresh set of hinges for my beloved, albeit aging, Lenovo Yoga 13. It took roughly a month to reach Denmark, but it was totally worth it. Big thanks for allowing me to fix it up instead of just throwing it out and buying a new one.

Feels like a scam website.

I received my order with tracking info, but it went from my country to another European nation and then got sent back with the status "UNDELIVERABLE - RETURNED TO SENDER."

It looks like Laptopkey.com and laptopinventory.com are connected.

I reached out and got a response saying they’d send another one, but I'm still waiting after a month.
